Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ lbs. ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. taco seasoning (or make your own: 2 tsp. chili powder, 1 ½ tsp. paprika, 1 tsp. onion powder, ½ tsp. each of garlic powder, cumin and dried oregano)
  • 1 large tomato diced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • Romaine lettuce leaves for serving
  • Cooking fat
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Add some ghee to a pan that has been preheated to medium-high heat.

  • Add half the onion and cook for about 5 minutes.

  • Add the beef and taco seasoning; season to taste.

  • When the beef is cooked, prepare the individual tacos by distributing the meat equally on 8 lettuce leaves. Top with the remaining onion, tomato, and avocado.
