Melt cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add onion and garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, 4 to 5 minutes.

Add the tomatoes and bell pepper, and continue cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes.

Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, and paprika, and season to taste.

Pour in the tomato sauce, toss everything well and add the cabbage.
½ head cabbage, 1 cup tomato sauce
Cover and cook on medium heat, for 8 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is soft.
