Mexican-Style Beef Cabbage Skillet Recipe

Easy on the wallet and abundantly yummy in your tummy, this Mexican-style beef cabbage skillet will take center stage, alongside some cauliflower tortillas, of course!

  • Melt cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    2 tbsp. cooking fat
  • Add onion and garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Add the tomatoes and bell pepper, and continue cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, and paprika, and season to taste.
    1 tbsp. chili powder, 1 tsp. cumin powder, 1 tsp. paprika, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Pour in the tomato sauce, toss everything well and add the cabbage.
    ½ head cabbage, 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Cover and cook on medium heat, for 8 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is soft.
