  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Put the basil, garlic, pepper flakes, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until everything is well chopped.
    2 cups fresh basil leaves, ½ tsp. red pepper flakes, 3 garlic cloves, ⅓ cup pine nuts
  • Add the olive oil, pulse again until smooth, and season to taste.
    ½ cup olive oil, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish, and cover them with a good layer of basil pesto.

  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
