In a bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder; season with salt and pepper to taste.
1 ½ lb. ground beef, 1 egg, 1 tbsp. homemade ketchup, 1 tbsp. mustard, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. onion powder, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Form equally sized patties with the ground beef mixture and refrigerate.
Melt ghee in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add onions and cook until soft (1 to 2 minutes).

Add all the remaining ingredients for the brown gravy and bring to a light boil.
1 ¼ cups beef stock, ½ onion, 2 tsp. parsley, 2 tbsp. ghee, 1 tbsp. tapioca or potato starch, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Lower heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Add 1 tbsp. of starch mixed with 1 tbsp. of cold water to the sauce for a thicker consistency.
Melt some cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
Pour the sauce over the patties and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve the hamburgers topped with fresh parsley to taste.
