  • Add the cranberries, water, orange juice, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, and cayenne pepper to a pan; season with salt and pepper to taste.
    2 cups fresh cranberries, ¼ cup water, ½ cup orange juice, 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup raw honey, ½ tsp. cayenne pepper, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Bring the mixture to a boil; lower the heat and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool; mash the cranberries as needed.
  • Preheat oven to 300 F.
  • Score the skin of the ham with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern.
    4 to 5 lb. ham
  • Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush with the cranberry sauce, ensuring everything is well covered.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 1 ½ hours to 2 hours; brush with the remaining sauce every 25 minutes.
  • Let rest for 4 to 5 minutes before slicing; serve with any remaining sauce.
