  • In a bowl, combine the apple, mushroom, celery, shallot, garlic, and lemon juice; season to taste.
    1 apple, ½ cup mushrooms, 1 celery stalk, 1 shallot, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Melt some cooking fat in a skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool; add the beaten egg and mix until well combined.

  • Place about 1 tablespoon of apple-mushroom mixture on each pork slice.
    ½ lb. thinly sliced pork loin
  • Roll the pork slices and secure them with a toothpick.
  • Heat some cooking fat in a skillet and cook each pork roll on all sides until cooked through.
