Oven roast duck legs in citrus orange and lemon juice for a tender, juicy dish.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 F.
  • Season the duck generously with sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and allspice.

  • Brown the duck legs on a skillet over medium-high heat on both sides for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Place half of the lemon and orange slices on the bottom of a baking dish, then top with the duck legs.

  • Place the remaining orange and lemon slices on top of the duck, then cover with fresh thyme.

  • Pour the chicken stock and orange juice into the baking dish, then place in the oven.
    1 cup chicken stock, ½ cup orange juice
  • Bake for 1-½ to 2 hours in the oven.
