Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Mix the ground beef, egg, onion powder, and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
1 egg, ½ tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. garlic powder, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, 1 ½ lbs. ground beef
Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls.
Wrap each meatball with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
1 lb. bacon
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
If you’re using honey, combine it with the chili powder in a separate bowl.
3 tbsp. chili powder, 4 tbsp. raw honey
Drizzle the meatballs with chili powder, or rub the honey-chili mixture on each meatball.
Place back into the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.
