Spicy Cranberry Meatballs Recipe

  • In a saucepan placed over medium heat, dissolve the honey into the orange juice. Stir in the cranberries and cook for about 10 minutes.
    ⅓ cup raw honey, 1 cup fresh orange juice, 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • Add all the remaining ingredients for the cranberry sauce, mix well, and bring to a boil.

  • Lower the heat and let simmer for another 10 minutes. Season to taste, and remove from the heat.
  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Season to taste, and mix until well combined.
    2 lbs. ground beef, 1 egg, 2 garlic cloves, 2 tsp. onion powder, 2 tsp. ground ginger, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Roll the meat mixture into bite-sized meatballs.
  • Melt some cooking fat in a skillet placed over medium-high heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.

  • Lower the heat to medium-low. Pour the cranberry sauce over the meatballs and let simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until the meatballs are no longer pink inside.
