  • In a large saucepan, melt some cooking fat over medium-high heat.

  • Brown the onion and garlic until soft.

  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

  • Add the chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Give everything a good stir.
    2 tbsp. chili powder, 2 tsp. paprika, 1 tsp. dried oregano, 1 tsp. ground cumin, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper:
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    2 sweet potatoes, 28 oz diced tomatoes, 1 jalapeño pepper, ¼ cup beef broth, ¼ cup ketchup
  • Reduce to a simmer and cook, half-covered, for 40 to 45 minutes.
