  • Place the pickling spices in a piece of cheesecloth and tie it tightly closed.
  • Combine all the ingredients, including the cheesecloth-wrapped spices, in a large saucepan placed over medium-high heat.
    24 red tomatoes, 8 apples, 2 pears, 4 onions, 2 bell peppers, 1 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 cup raw honey, 2 tbsp. pickling spices, Sea salt
  • Bring the ketchup to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Lower the heat to medium and let simmer for about 1 hour, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the cheesecloth-wrapped spices. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Let cool and refrigerate.
