Heat your oven to 375 F (190 C).
Cover each boneless chicken breast half with two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them until their thickness is approximately ¼ cup.

In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon almond butter, 2 tablespoons homemade mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 minced garlic clove, and 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro.

Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray or grease and place the seasoned chicken breasts on top. Evenly spread the almond butter and mayonnaise mixture on top. Start with a teaspoon each of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.

Place 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds on top of each chicken breast. Bake for around 25 minutes or until there is no pink inside and it reaches a minimum temperature of 165 F . If necessary, add more salt and pepper to taste.
