Skillet Sausages with Pan-Seared Apples Recipe

  • Heat the cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add the apples cut side down. Pan sear, occasionally turning until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.

  • Add the sausages, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet with the apples. Cook, occasionally turning, for about 8 to 10 minutes.
    4 large sausages of your choosing, 1 onion, 1 cup cremini mushrooms
  • Pour in the chicken stock and white wine vinegar, and whisk while making sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
    ¼ cup chicken stock, 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Add the spinach and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until wilted, and serve immediately.
