Slow Cooker Cuban-Style Beef Recipe
Get ready for some Cuban-style shredded beef - an appetizing comfort food that is simmered in the slow cooker all day, so that dinner is flavorful, ready, and waiting just for you!

Season the beef to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Melt cooking fat in a skillet over high heat, and brown the beef on all sides, 3 to 4 minutes total.

Place the beef in a slow cooker and add all the remaining ingredients on top.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove the beef from the slow cooker, let rest for 10 to 15 minutes, then shred using forks.
Place the beef back in the slow cooker, mix everything and serve topped with fresh cilantro.
