Preheat oven to 400 F.
Season the chicken breasts to taste on both sides with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Melt some cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat; brown the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes per side and place on a baking sheet.

Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Combine the garlic, honey, buffalo sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat.

Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
Baste the chicken with the sauce and place back in the oven for another 10 to 12 minutes, basting every five minutes on both sides.
Serve the chicken with the remaining sauce.
