Oven roasted broccoli bites with crispy bits of goodness are perfect next to a baked chicken, alongside some beef skewers, or with a pot of dipping sauce.

  • Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  • In a bowl combine the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, red pepper flakes, and season to taste.
    ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil, 4 garlic cloves, 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice, Zest of half a lemon, 1 tsp. paprika, ½ tsp. red pepper flakes, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet, and drizzle the olive oil mixture over the broccoli. Toss until well covered.
    2 broccoli heads
  • Place in the oven and roast 10 to 15 minutes, turning at the halfway point.
  • Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the broccoli and place back into the oven another 5 to 8 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
    ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • Adjust seasoning and serve.
