    Cranberry and Apple Coleslaw

Cranberries and apples don't just add flavor and texture to your coleslaw; they come with a myriad of health benefits. Cranberries are known for their high nutrient and antioxidant content. They are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K1, and copper. Apples, on the other hand, are rich in important antioxidants, flavonoids, and dietary fiber. Pairing these two powerhouse fruits in your coleslaw not only makes for a tasty treat but also for a nutritionally dense addition to your meal.

Cranberry and Apple Coleslaw is a versatile side dish that can accompany a wide range of meals. Pair it with Maple Barbecued Ribs for a delightful sweet and savory balance, or serve it alongside a Picnic Spread for a crisp, refreshing contrast.

Serves: 6 Prep Time: 10 minutes

    • ½ lb shredded cabbage
    • ½ lb shredded carrots

    • 1 cup homemade mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
    • 2 tablespoon honey, optional
