If you caught the apple harvest while at its deliciously ripe peak, and prepared an enormous batch of apple butter, you made the right decision to make extra.

Though you may be wondering what to do with the remainder of your homemade apple butter, outside of spooning it straight from the jar.

Add it to your pork chop skillet, of course! However, if you missed the seasonal harvest due to the busyness of life, don't fret. Apples are readily available at the store no matter what time of day.

You can even choose the varieties that you like best, then mix and match them in our slow-cooked Paleo apple butter version. Stir in ½ cup of honey, or maple syrup, or don't. It will be inviting either way.

Pork chops and applesauce - it is a classic meal that can hardly be beaten. Whether it is served at the end of a work day, or on a relaxed weekend, this combo will make you proud to be eating Paleo!

Grab those pork chops from the butcher, defrost them from the freezer, and do whatever you have to do to make this happen.

Because, when you prepare this meal, it will feel like a celebration of all the little things in life, all the things that make you happy, and all the things you dream about for the future.

It just tastes amazing, there is no other way around it.
