- 2 tablespoon cooking fat, melted
- ½ cup homemade mayonnaise
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 teaspoon dried dill
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
- Cooking fat
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
How to Make Baked Cod with Creamy Dill Sauce
Combine the melted cooking fat, mayonnaise, minced onion, dried dill and dried thyme in a bowl and mix well. Season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Grease a baking dish with some cooking fat, place the fish in it and pour the creamy sauce over it.
Bake in the preheated oven until the fish is just cooked through, about 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
