    Crab Stuffed Salmon

The notion of combining crab with salmon is steeped in culinary tradition, with evidence of such pairings dating back to early seafood cooking. Over the years, this fusion has been refined into a signature dish, favored for its rich, complementary flavors and tantalizing textures.

The dish has gained popularity for its unique ability to straddle the line between sophistication and approachability. Not just a restaurant indulgence, crab stuffed salmon also captivates home cooks with its manageable complexity and the excitement of presenting a dish that looks as impressive as it tastes.

This pairs really well with Dijon and pecan asparagus or oven-roasted broccoli. A fabulous meal filled with flavor you won't soon forget.

    Ingredients

Serves: 4 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 18 minutes

    • 2 cups canned or fresh crab meat
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 3 tablespoon parsley, minced
    • Juice of half a lemon
    • Cooking fat
    • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

How to Make Crab Stuffed Salmon

Preheat your oven to 400 F.

In a bowl, mix the crab meat with the minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice and some salt and pepper to taste.

Rub some melted cooking fat all over the salmon fillets and score the fillets in the middle to create a crack where the crab meat will go.

Stuff each salmon fillet in this middle space you created. A lot of the crab meat will end up sticking out of the salmon.

Place the fillets on a baking sheet over a sheet of foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes or until just cooked.
