The ever-versatile pork chop – is there any way it can’t be prepared? In this recipe, you’ll be bringing out the spicier side of pork with a tasty Cajun seasoning slathered on both sides of your chops.

    Grilled Cajun Pork Chops

From start to finish, this recipe will take just about 20 minutes to complete, making it perfect for busy weeknights or even for lunches at home when you want something a little more filling.

To save even more time, you can make your Cajun spice blend in advance and store it tightly covered at room temperature. Remember that the chili flakes in this blend are the source of your heat – feel free to use more or less depending on how spicy you like your meals.

We feel like any dish with pork is a great one for the sheer nutritional content of this ingredient. Pork provides a huge protein macro content for the amount of meat you need and also provides a host of other micronutrients as well.

Pastured pork offers the best nutritional value – although this can be significantly more expensive than other options, it’s worth checking out what local options you might have available to obtain this.

These grilled Cajun pork chops work well with a mild side dish, so keep things simple by roasting a tray of vegetables of your choice and serving them alongside your chops. If you’re looking for a more complex side dish, try a yummy salad like this tomato and spinach salad.
