Bacon Wrapped Dates
The irresistible draw of bacon is due, in part, to the rich umami flavor it brings to the table. It's no wonder that bacon is often referred to as the candy of meats. When it envelopes and crisps around the delectably chewy sweetness of a date, it's a sensory experience that's difficult to replicate with any other ingredient.
When considering what to serve alongside bacon wrapped dates, it's essential to balance the palate and complement the dish's rich flavors. A curated Charcuterie Board makes an excellent companion to bacon wrapped dates, offering varying textures and a spectrum of flavors. To counterbalance the sweetness and richness of the dates, consider pairing them with a Simple Chicken Salad.
