    Tapenade

    This rich, savory olive-based spread hails from the sunny Provence region of France and has become synonymous with culinary sophistication and versatility. Whether you're a seasoned home cook, a health enthusiast, or simply a lover of delicious, wholesome foods, tapenade offers something special for everyone.

    Tapenade's true beauty lies in its adaptability. It shines as a dip for crusty Paleo Bread or Grilled Vegetables, a spread for sandwiches and wraps, or a topping for grilled fish and meats.

    Ingredients

    Serves: 12 Prep Time: 5 minutes

    • ½ lb pitted black olives
    • 2 anchovy fillets
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 2 tablespoon capers
    • 3 fresh basil leaves
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

    How to Make Tapenade

    Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process, scraping the sides from time to time, until the consistency of a purée is reached, about 1 minute.

    Serve immediately or keep in the refrigerator.
