    Tart Cranberry Sauce

    While sweet cranberry sauces have their place on many a holiday table, it's the tart versions that truly capture the essence of the cranberry. Tart cranberry sauce provides a refreshing counterbalance to rich, savory dishes, cutting through the fat and enhancing flavors. For those on a health-conscious or paleo diet, minimizing added sugars is key, and tart cranberry sauce fits perfectly, delivering taste without compromise.

    Beyond the Thanksgiving Turkey, tart cranberry sauce can elevate many dishes. Pair it with Brie cheese for a delightful appetizer, use it as a topping for Pancakes or waffles, or incorporate it into your cocktails for a festive twist.

    Ingredients

    Serves: 12 Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes

    • 1 lb fresh or frozen cranberries
    • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

    How to Make Tart Cranberry Sauce

    Place the cranberries and orange juice in a pot and slowly bring to a boil, making sure to stir from time to time.

    As the cranberries cook, they will eventually pop. When all the cranberries have popped, the sauce is ready.

    Place in the refrigerator to cool.
